PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an armature which can obtain sufficient electromagnetic force by increase in strength of a magnetic field applied to inside of a rail.SOLUTION: The armature comprises a magnetic core 21 and a coil. The magnetic core 21 includes core members 23a, 23b arranged at different positions from each other in a direction DR1 and a coupling member 24a for coupling the core members 23a and 23b.The core member 23a includes a core member 23c along a direction DR2 intersecting with the direction DR1 and a core member 23d arranged at a first side rather than the core member 23c in a direction DR3 intersecting with both directions DR1 and DR2. The core member 23b is arranged at an opposite side to the first side rather than the core member 23c in the direction DR3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5

    【課題】レールの内部に印加される磁界の強さが大きくなり、十分な電磁力を得ることができる電機子を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】電機子は、磁心21とコイルとを備え、磁心21は、方向DR1において、互いに異なる位置に配置されたコア部材23a及び23bと、コア部材23aとコア部材23bとを連結する連結部材24aと、を有する。コア部材23aは、方向DR1と交差する方向DR2に沿ったコア部材23cと、方向DR1及びDR2のいずれとも交差する方向DR3において、コア部材23cよりも第1の側に配置されたコア部材23dと、を含む。コア部材23bは、方向DR3において、コア部材23cよりも第1の側と反対側に配置されている。【選択図】図5
