PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a collision avoidance support performance.SOLUTION: An ECU 12 provided in an on-vehicle system 10 carries out following processing to support avoiding a collision of an own vehicle with an obstacle. In other words, the ECU 12 searches for a preceding vehicle preceding the own vehicle and detects a trajectory of the searched preceding vehicle. When it is found from the detected trajectory that a distance to the obstacle is equal to or more than a threshold, the ECU 12 restricts a collision avoidance support operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
