PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel residual quantity warning device capable of easily performing the lights-out of a residual quantity warning lamp in the case where it is erroneously judged that a fuel residual quantity in a fuel tank is less than a predetermined quantity, although not lower than the predetermined quantity.SOLUTION: When a residual quantity warning lamp 4 is kept in a lighting state, a determination on whether or not there is the specified operation which is not performed at a normal operation of operation means such as a winker 7, a headlight switch 8 or a courtesy switch 9 is made by control means 5, and the residual quantity warning lamp 4 is controlled to the light-out, if the specified operation resides.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】燃料タンク内の燃料残量が所定値を実際には下回っていないにも拘らず下回ったと誤判定される場合に、簡単に残量警告灯を消灯できる燃料残量警告装置を提供する。【解決手段】残量警告灯4が点灯状態に維持されているときに、ドライバにより、操作手段であるウィンカ7やヘッドライトスイッチ8やカーテシスイッチ9の通常運転時には行われることのない特定操作があるかどうかの判定が制御手段5によりなされ、特定操作ありと判定されると残量警告灯4が消灯制御される。【選択図】図1
