To warn a user of fuel residual quantity while avoiding influence on traveling performance of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A fuel residual quantity warning device for an internal combustion engine for warning fuel residual quantity in a fuel tank of the internal combustion engine, includes a fuel residual quantity determination section for determining whether or not fuel residual quantity in the fuel tank is equal to or less than a prescribed value, an idling state determination section for determining whether or not the internal combustion engine is in an idling state, and a vibration control section for changing vibration generated in the internal combustion engine when the fuel residual quantity determination section determines that the fuel residual quantity is equal to or less than the prescribed value and the idling state determination section determines that the internal combustion engine is in the idling state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
