PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate a rotation angle of a rotator (41) without a sensor, in a case where a pulse voltage is applied to multi-phase armature coils (43U, 43V, and 43W) of a dynamo-electric motor (40) so as to drive the dynamo-electric motor (40).SOLUTION: A rotation angle estimation device rotates a rotator by applying a pulse voltage of which a phase is shifted to each of multi-phase armature coils, sequentially detects a neutral point potential difference and a potential difference between an actual neutral point (M) of each armature coil and a virtual neutral point (N) structured and equivalent circuits (60U, 60V, and 60W) of each armature coil, detects (103) a cross point in which a magnitude of the neutral point potential difference and a predetermined threshold value in a state where the pulse voltage having a predetermined phase difference is sequentially applied to each armature coil, and the rotator is rotated, and estimates (107) a rotation angle of the rotator on the basis of an interval from a timing when the cross point is detected to a sequential cross point. In the estimation of the rotation angle of the rotator, an unused-range in which the cross point is not used for estimating the rotation angle is set (105).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】電動機(40)の多相の電機子巻線(43U,43V,43W)にパルス電圧を印加して駆動する場合の回転子(41)の回転角度をセンサレスで推定する。【解決手段】多相の電機子巻線の各々に位相のずれたパルス電圧を印加することで回転子を回転し、電機子巻線の実際の中性点(M)と、電機子巻線の等価回路(60U,60V,60W)として構成された仮想中性点(N)との間の電位差である中性点電位差を逐次検出し、所定の位相差を有するパルス電圧が各電機子巻線に順次印加されて回転子が回転している状態で、検出された中性点電位差と予め定めた閾値との大小が反転するクロス点を検出し(103)、クロス点が検出されたタイミングから次のクロス点までの間隔に基づき、回転子の回転角度を推定する(107)。この回転子の回転角度の推定において、クロス点を回転角度の推定に用いない不使用範囲を設定する(105)。【選択図】図1
