PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a propeller shaft device improves the assembling workability of a propeller shaft by inducing the insertion of a wrench and by regulating unnecessary movement of the wrench to an axial direction of a shaft after the insertion of the wrench, when rotating the propeller shaft by lifting it for a purpose of aligning a universal joint and the other rotating member in a rotation direction when assembling the propeller shaft to a vehicle.SOLUTION: A shaft 52 of a center support part 50 having a joint body part 51 is connected to a rear part of a pipe shaft part 21, a disc circular retreat prevention plate 53 is attached to an external periphery of the joint body part 51, and a wrench hanging part 51c having a regular polygonal shape in an axial view of the shaft 52 is formed at an external periphery of the joint body part 51 in an immediately-before side of the retreat prevention plate 53.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】プロペラシャフトを車両に組付ける時、ユニバーサルジョイントと他の回転部材とを回転方向で位置合わせする目的で、プロペラシャフトをリフトアップさせて回転させる際に、レンチの差込み誘導を図り、かつ、レンチの差込み後においてレンチがシャフトの軸方向に不要に動くことを規制し、プロペラシャフトの組付け作業性が向上するプロペラシャフト装置を提供する。【解決手段】管軸部21の後部に、ジョイントボディ部51を有するセンタサポート部50のシャフト52が連結され、ジョイントボディ部51の外周に円環状の後退防止プレート53が取付けられ、後退防止プレート53の直前部におけるジョイントボディ部51の外周に、シャフト52の軸方向視で正多角形状のレンチ掛け部51cが形成されたことを特徴とする。【選択図】図4
