PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of an oxyhydrogen generator in which electrodes cannot be arranged in layers due to a problem of the ultrasonic vibration applied thereto in order to prevent the decrease of electrolytic efficiency due to the bubbles and/or precipitates adhered to electrodes by electrolysis of water.SOLUTION: An oxyhydrogen generator comprises: electrolysis means including cathodes and anodes that are arranged in layers in an electrolytic tank, a DC power supply for applying DC voltage to between the electrodes, an electrolyte control means, and a gas collecting means; and ultrasonic wave generation means including an ultrasonic vibrator and a high-frequency generator for ultrasonically vibrating the ultrasonic vibrator. In the electrolysis means, the cathodes and anodes are arranged on a plane perpendicular to the propagating direction of ultrasonic vibration oscillated by the ultrasonic vibrator or on a cylindrical plane, the electrodes are set in a slat-like or grid-like form, each of the electrodes is placed having the distance of a quarter of the ultrasonic wavelength from the vibration surface of the ultrasonic vibrator, and the cathodes are arranged at the odd-numbered position and the anodes are arranged at the even-numbered position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】水の電気分解で電極に付着する気泡や析出物により、電解効率が低下するのを防止するために超音波振動を付加する酸水素発生装置において、超音波振動の問題により電極を層状配置できない問題点がある。【解決手段】電解槽内に層状配置する陰極と陽極と、前記電極間に直流電圧を印加する直流電源と、電解液制御手段と、気体捕集手段と、で構成する電気分解手段と、超音波発振子と、前記超音波発振子を超音波振動させる高周波発生器と、で構成する超音波発生手段と、を備え、前記電気分解手段は、前記陰極と前記陽極を、前記超音波発振子から発振する超音波振動の伝搬方向に対し垂直な平面上または円筒面上に配置し、電極をスラット状またはグリッド状とし、更に、前記超音波発振子の振動面から、超音波波長の4分の1の奇数倍の距離に前記陰極を、偶数倍の距離に前記陽極を配置する酸水素発生装置とする。【選択図】 図1
