PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling resistance evaluation device of a tire capable of reducing the capacity of a power source for acquiring vibration amplitude and reducing the vibration and the fatigue damage of the entire device and the drum constituted member.SOLUTION: A rolling resistance evaluation device 10 of a tire includes: a load applying roll 44 having a surface simulating a road surface on which a tire 2 runs: a moving mechanism for alternately moving the load applying roll 44 in a proximal direction which is a direction proximate the tire 2 and in a separating direction which is a direction to separate from the tire 2; a load applying sensor 38; a position sensor 37; and a rolling resistance evaluation part 49 for comparing the phase difference deriving part 48 for deriving the phase difference with the variation of the applying load and the variation of the position of the load applying roll 44 based on the signals from the load applying sensor 38 and the position sensor 37 and the phase difference derived by the phase difference deriving part 48 and evaluating the rolling resistance of the tire to be the evaluation object, where two or more load applying roll 44 arranged side by side are smaller than the tire 2 in diameter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6

    【課題】加振振幅を得るための動力源の容量を小さくし、装置全体およびドラム構成部材の振動や疲労損傷を低減できるタイヤの転がり抵抗評価装置を提供する。【解決手段】タイヤ2が走行する路面を模擬した表面を有する負荷ロール44と、負荷ロール44を、タイヤ2に近接する方向である近接方向及びタイヤ2から離隔する方向である離隔方向に、交互に移動させるための移動機構と、荷重センサ38と、位置センサ37と、荷重センサ38及び位置センサ37からの信号に基づき荷重の変動と負荷ロール44の位置の変動との位相差を導出する位相差導出部48と、位相差導出部48が導出した位相差とを比較し、評価対象となるタイヤの転がり抵抗を評価する転がり抵抗評価49部とを備えたタイヤの転がり抵抗評価装置10において、並べて配置された2本以上の負荷ロール44がタイヤ2より小径である。【選択図】図6
