PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation method for accurately measuring temperature dependency of rolling resistance.SOLUTION: An evaluation method of temperature dependency of rolling resistance of a tire includes: (1) a process in which the tire is rolled by a drum type tester at a fixed atmospheric temperature Ta, and a temperature Tt of the tire when it becomes an equilibrium state is measured; (2) a process in which the tire is cooled to a temperature Ti equal to or lower than the temperature Tt; (3) a process in which a relation between the temperature of the tire and the rolling resistance of the tire is measured by time-sequentially and continuously performing measurement of the temperature and measurement of the rolling resistance by a rolling resistance tester, for the cooled tire; and (4) a process in which rolling resistance at the temperature Tt is calculated from the relation between the temperature and the rolling resistance of the tire that is obtained in the process (3), and a value of the calculated rolling resistance is set as a value of rolling resistance when the tire is rolled in an environment of the atmospheric temperature Ta.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】転がり抵抗の温度依存性を精度良く測定するための評価方法の提供。【解決手段】本発明に係るタイヤの転がり抵抗の温度依存性の評価方法は、(1)一定の雰囲気温度Taの環境おいてタイヤをドラム型試験機にて転動させて、タイヤが平衡状態となったときのタイヤの温度Ttを測定する工程、(2)上記タイヤを上記温度Tt以下である温度Tiまで冷却する工程、(3)上記冷却したタイヤについて、温度測定と転がり抵抗試験機による転がり抵抗測定とを時系列で連続して行うことで、上記タイヤの温度と転がり抵抗との関係を測定する工程及び(4)上記(3)の工程で得られたタイヤの温度と転がり抵抗との関係から、上記温度Ttにおける転がり抵抗を求め、この転がり抵抗の値を、雰囲気温度Taの環境において上記タイヤを転動させたときの転がり抵抗の値とする工程を含む。【選択図】図4
