PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rollover prevention device that properly prevents vehicle rollover against side winds.SOLUTION: A rollover prevention device 30 comprises an airfoil-shaped part 31 that is provided on a ceiling surface of a railway vehicle 10 and of which a cross section is airfoil-shaped, and a brake plate 33 that is provided in the airfoil-shaped part 31, on the ceiling surface of the railway vehicle 10. The airfoil-shaped part 31 generates an aerodynamic force in a predetermined direction during the generation of side winds by having an inclination adjusted against the side winds. The aerodynamic force has a component acting in a vertical downward direction.
