PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rollover prevention device that properly prevents a vehicle from overturning due to a side wind.SOLUTION: A rollover prevention device 30 comprises an airfoil-shaped part 31 that is provided on a ceiling surface of a railway vehicle 10 and the cross-section of which assumes an airfoil shape. The airfoil-shaped part 31 has an inclination with respect to a side wind adjusted to generate an aerodynamic force in a predetermined direction on the occurrence of the side wind. The aerodynamic force has a component acting toward the occurrence side of the side wind in a vehicle width direction, and a component acting in a vertical downward direction. The airfoil-shaped part 31 assumes a shape formed by dividing an ellipsoid into quarters, and assumes a fan shape having a central angle of 90 degrees in a side view.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
