PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an atmospheric pressure type booster which is suppressed in generation of noise at the release of a brake.SOLUTION: A power piston 5 for defining the inside of a housing 2 to a constant pressure chamber A and a variable pressure chamber B is arranged in the housing 2 of an atmospheric pressure type booster 1. A second communication path 16D for making the constant pressure chamber A and the inside of a valve body 6 communicate with each other is formed at the valve body 6 which is connected to the power piston 5. The inside of the valve body 6 is defined by a first seal member 38 which is arranged between an engagement release member 36 and a first body 7 and a second seal member 39 which is arranged between the engagement release member 36 and a movable member 34, into a first chamber C and a second chamber D. The first chamber C communicates with the variable pressure chamber B, and the second chamber D communicates with the constant pressure chamber A by the second communication path 16D. One end side of the movable member 34 is located in the first chamber C, and the other end side is located in the second chamber D.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】ブレーキ解除時に異音が発生するのを抑制した気圧式倍力装置を提供する。【解決手段】気圧式倍力装置1のハウジング2内には、ハウジング2内を定圧室Aと変圧室Bとに画成するパワーピストン5が設けられている。パワーピストン5に連結されたバルブボディ6には、定圧室Aとバルブボディ6内とを連通する第2の連通路16Dが形成されている。バルブボディ6内は、係合解除部材36と第1のボディ7との間に配置された第1のシール部材38と、係合解除部材36と可動部材34との間に配置された第2のシール部材39とにより第1の室Cと第2の室Dとに画成されている。第1の室Cは、変圧室Bと連通され、第2の室Dは、第2の連通路16Dにより定圧室Aと連通されている。可動部材34は、一端側が第1の室C内に位置し、他端側が第2の室D内に位置している。【選択図】図2
