PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an atmospheric pressure type booster which is suppressed in generation of noise at the release of a brake.SOLUTION: A valve body 6 moving in a housing 2 connected to a power piston 5 is arranged in the housing 2 of an atmospheric pressure type booster 1. A plunger 28 connected to an input rod 21 and a movable member 34 which is arranged at the other end side of the plunger 28 in an axial direction so as to be capable of abutting thereon, are arranged in the valve body 6. An engagement member 36 engaged with the movable member 34 when the movable member 34 relatively moves to the valve body 6, and an engagement release member 37 which moves relative to the engagement member 36 and releases the engagement between the engagement member 36 and the movable member 34, are arranged at an external peripheral side of the movable member 34. An O-ring 35 for imparting slide resistance to the movement of the movable member 34 in the axial direction is arranged between the movable member 34 and the valve body 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】ブレーキ解除時に異音が発生するのを抑制した気圧式倍力装置を提供する。【解決手段】気圧式倍力装置1のハウジング2内には、パワーピストン5に連結されハウジング2内を移動するバルブボディ6が設けられている。バルブボディ6内には、入力ロッド21に連結されたプランジャ28と、プランジャ28の軸方向他端側に当接可能に配置された可動部材34とが配設されている。可動部材34の外周側には、可動部材34がバルブボディ6に対して相対移動したときに可動部材34に係合する係合部材36と、係合部材36と相対移動して該係合部材36と可動部材34との係合を解除する係合解除部材37とが設けられている。可動部材34とバルブボディ6との間には、可動部材34の軸方向の移動に対して摺動抵抗を付与するOリング35が設けられている。【選択図】図2
