PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for controlling a park lock device that can detect a failure in a hydraulic control part, and to provide a method for controlling a park lock device.SOLUTION: ATCU 10 is constituted as a control device for a park module 32 including a park rod 323 and a hydraulic control part 329.
