PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric-vehicular control method and an electric-vehicular control apparatus, which improves a retardation in acceleration in a dead-zone interval.SOLUTION: A control method for an electric vehicle 10, the method for use in setting a torque target value on the basis of vehicular information and controlling torque of a motor 18 connected to drive wheels 24a, 24b, includes: a filtering step for applying filtering process to a torque target value, reducing a specific vibration frequency component of a drive power transmission system that has a dead-zone interval where no motor torque is transmitted to a drive shaft 22; and a motor torque control step for controlling motor torque in accordance with a torque instruction value that is produced by applying the filtering process to the torque target value. Further, the filtering process performs processing to advance a motor torque response (by applying a response promoting filter 42a) in the dead-zone interval relatively to a motor torque response in an interval other than the dead-zone interval.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
