PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device which performs inspection for a possibility that a controllable oscillation occurs in an electric power steering control device which performs control on the basis of a current command value calculated from information on torque such as steering torque and information on angles such as rotation angles, on the basis of characteristics of a transfer function related to the current command value, and an electric power steering device mounted with the same.SOLUTION: The inspection device, which performs inspection of an electric power steering control device which calculates a current command value using at least information on torque and information on angles and controls driving of a motor which imparts assist force to a steering system of a vehicle on the basis of the current command value, comprises: a control parameter input portion which inputs a control parameter as a base for calculating the current command value; and a determining portion which determines whether a controllable oscillation unlikely occurs in a vehicle on the basis of a transfer function L related to the current command value, which is defined at least by the control parameter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
