PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably prevent failure of a control apparatus of a four-wheel-drive vehicle provided with a connection-disconnection mechanism that has a synchronizing device when switching from 2WD to 4WD, thus suppressing the connection-disconnection mechanism from failing.SOLUTION: A control apparatus is for use in a four-wheel-drive vehicle that includes a first switchover mechanism for connecting-disconnecting a power transmission path between a front wheel and a propeller shaft, and a second switchover mechanism for connecting-disconnecting a power transmission path between the propeller shaft and a rear wheel, with the first and second switchover mechanisms including a synchronizing device. In the case of being determined that a main drive wheel rotation speed V is asynchronous with a separation part rotation speed Vp, that is, no synchronism is established, while the synchronizing device of the first switchover mechanism is in operation when switching from 2WD to 4WD, a driver is warned, while if a given condition is established even with the occurrence of no synchronism, the first switchover mechanism is connected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】同期装置を有する断接機構を備えた四輪駆動車両の制御装置において、2WDから4WDへの切替時における制御装置の故障を確実に回避し、断接機構の故障を抑制する。【解決手段】前輪とプロペラシャフトとの間の動力伝達経路を断接する第1切替機構と、プロペラシャフトと後輪との間の動力伝達経路を断接する第2切替機構と、を備え、第1および第2切替機構が同期装置を有している四輪駆動車両の制御装置である。2WD状態から4WD状態への切替時における、第1切替機構の同期装置の作動中に、主駆動輪回転数Vと切離部回転数Vpとが同期しない同期不成立と判定した場合には、運転者に警告を行うとともに、同期不成立が生じていても、所定条件が成立した場合には、第1切替機構を接続する。【選択図】図4
