PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact absorption member which can enhance impact absorption performance.SOLUTION: In a cylindrical impact absorption member 1, a cross section of the impact absorption member 1 is formed into a rectangular cylindrical shape, and a direction along the other end 12 from one end 11 of the impact absorption member 1 is set as an impact absorption direction L. A bead 15 in which a part of a sidewall part 13 being each rectangular side is recessed to the inside is formed at the impact absorption member 1 along the impact absorption direction L from one end 11 up to the other end 12, and a thickness of the sidewall part 13 is gradually thinned along the impact absorption direction L.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
