PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure of a vehicle side part which hardly causes uneven yield strength even if a cross section shape thereof varies drastically in the vicinity of a connection site between a front pillar and a roof rail and further can be downsized.SOLUTION: The connection structure of a vehicle side part has an RF connection part 43 in which a front pillar 10 is connected to a roof rail 20 in a longitudinal direction and a rear part of a front pillar RF13 is connected to a front part of a roof rail RF23 in cross section shapes corresponding to each other, where a rear part of a front pillar inner 11 is connected to a front part of a roof rail inner 21 through an inner 45 for connection wider than the RF connection part 43; one side edge of the RF connection part 43 is joined to one edge of a side outer 42 having a front pillar outer 12 and a roof rail outer 22 and one side edge of the inner 45 for connection; the other side edge of the RF connection part 43 is joined to an abdominal part 45a of the inner 45 for connection; and the other edge of the side outer 42 and the other side edge of the inner 45 for connection are joined to each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】フロントピラーとルーフレールとの連結部位付近で断面形状が急激に変化しても耐力段差を生じ難く、軽量化を図ることも可能な車両側部の連結構造を提供する。【解決手段】フロントピラー10とルーフレール20とが長手方向に連結し、フロントピラーRF13の後部とルーフレールRF23の前部とが互いに対応した断面形状で連結されたRF連結部43を有し、フロントピラーインナ11の後部とルーフレールインナ21の前部とが、RF連結部43より幅広の連結用インナ45を介して連結し、RF連結部43の一方の側縁が、フロントピラーアウタ12及びルーフレールアウタ22を有するサイドアウタ42の一方の側縁と連結用インナ45の一方の側縁とに接合され、RF連結部43の他方の側縁が、連結用インナ45の腹部45aに接合され、サイドアウタ42の他方の側縁と連結用インナ45の他方の側縁とが互いに接合されている。【選択図】図3
