To provide a vehicle side part structure which enables reduction of an amount of a portion of a side door entering a passenger compartment during a side collision in a more effective manner.SOLUTION: A vehicle side part structure includes: a side door 10; a bracket 40 which is attached to a lower part of the side door 10 and partially protrudes from the side door 10 to the inner side as seen in a vehicle width direction; a rocker 14 which extends in a vehicle fore and aft direction and forms a lower edge of a door opening 12 and in which an engagement hole 36 into which the part of the bracket 40 enters is formed on an outer surface as seen in the vehicle width direction; and an intermediation panel 50. The side door 10 has a lifting rail 26 which extends in a vehicle vertical direction in its internal space. A lower end of the lifting rail 26, a part of the intermediation panel 50, and a door inner panel 20 are overlapped in the vehicle width direction to be welded.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
