PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a start control mechanism of a four-wheel-drive electric automobile, the mechanism capable of reliably protecting a switching element while preventing the generation of noise even in a case where large torque is applied at an extreme low speed to the switching element when starting on a sloped road.SOLUTION: A start control mechanism 1 of a four-wheel-drive electric automobile, the mechanism includes: a first motor 2 for driving a front wheel; a second motor 3 for driving a rear wheel; a shift lever 12 enabling setting of a parking lock; an inverter 5 including a switching element 5d; sloped road determination means 8c for determining whether a sloped road exists on the basis of a phase of the first motor 2 and that of the second motor 3; cooling means 7 for cooling the inverter 5 with a coolant; and inverter control means 8 for estimating torque applied to either of the first motor 2 and second motor 3 after the shift lever 12 is set at the parking lock on a sloped road, and causing the cooling means 7 to start cooling the inverter 5 with the coolant at a flow rate corresponding to the estimated torque after the parking lock is released by the shift lever 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】坂道発進時等の極低速かつ大トルクがスイッチング素子に作用する場合においても、騒音の発生を防止しつつスイッチング素子の保護を確実に行うことが可能な四輪駆動電気自動車の発進制御機構の提供を目的とする。【解決手段】前輪を駆動する第1モータ2と、後輪を駆動する第2モータ3と、パーキングロックを設定可能なシフトレバー12と、スイッチング素子5dを有するインバータ5と、第1モータ2の位相と第2モータ3の位相とから坂路であるか否かを判定する坂路判定手段8cと、インバータ5を冷媒により冷却する冷却手段7と、坂路でシフトレバー12がパーキングロックに設定された後に第1モータ2または第2モータ3の何れかに作用するトルクを推定し、シフトレバー12によりパーキングロックが解除された後に推定されたトルクに対応した冷媒の流量で冷却手段7によりインバータ5の冷却を開始させるインバータ制御手段8とを有する四輪駆動電気自動車の発進制御機構1。【選択図】図1
