PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a risk degree calculation device which can properly determine a collision risk with the other vehicle which approaches from a rear side.SOLUTION: The risk degree calculation device which calculates a risk degree determination value correlated to a collision risk of the other vehicle Va which approaches from a rear side of an own vehicle V comprises: rear-side monitoring means 91, 90 which detect the other vehicle approaching from the rear side of the own vehicle; relative angle detection means 50 for detecting a relative angle which is formed of a progressing direction of a lane in which the intrusion of the own vehicle is predicted, and a fore-and-aft direction of the own vehicle; and risk degree determination value calculation means which calculates a risk degree determination value on the basis of a relative position and a relative speed of the other vehicle with respect to the own vehicle when the rear-side monitoring means detects the other vehicle, and increasingly corrects the risk degree determination value according to an increase of the relative angle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
