PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery state detector capable of correcting a current value detected by a current detection unit, with more accurate and simple calculation than that in a case of correcting only an offset value.SOLUTION: A battery state detector 2 includes: a current detection unit 23 configured to detect current of an on-vehicle battery 1; a storage unit 26 configured to store error information indicating a characteristic of an error that a current value detected by the current detection unit 23 has; a temperature detection unit 21 configured to detect a temperature; and a calculation unit 25 configured to correct the current value on the basis of the detection temperature, current and error information. The error information contains information indicating characteristics of a component of the error depending on the current detected by the current detection unit 23 and the temperature detected by the temperature detection unit 21, and a component of the error depending on the current detected by the current detection unit 23 and a component of the error depending on the temperature detected by the temperature detection unit 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
