PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective technology for restraining force for holding a sub-air chamber member fixed to a wheel body, from reducing with the lapse of time, in an automobile wheel.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a wheel 101 on the present invention includes a first process S101 of preparing a wheel body for providing a fixing groove of extending in the circumferential direction of an outer peripheral surface of a rim so as to have a widening part of widening a groove width in the wheel axial direction on the bottom side rather than the inlet side of the fixing groove, a second process S102 of preparing a metallic sub-air chamber member of curving a cross section of extending in a circular arc shape and vertical to the circular arc direction in a projection shape toward the circular arc outside, a third process S103 of fixing the sub-air chamber member to the wheel body by plastically deforming the sub-air chamber member up to contacting with the widening part of the fixing groove by adding a compressive load in the wheel radial direction to the sub-air chamber member after arranging the sub-air chamber member in the fixing groove of the wheel body and a fourth process S104 of closing an opening of one end part in the wheel circumferential direction of the sub-air chamber member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
【課題】 自動車用ホイールにおいて、ホイール本体に固定された副気室部材を保持する力が時間経過とともに低下してしまうことを抑制するのに有効な技術を提供する。【解決手段】 本発明に係るホイール101の製造方法は、リムの外周面の周方向に延びる固定溝が、該固定溝の入口側よりも底側にホイール軸方向の溝幅が拡幅された拡幅部を有するように設けられたホイール本体を用意する第1の工程S101と、円弧状に延び且つ円弧方向に垂直な断面が円弧外方に向けて凸に湾曲する金属製の副気室部材を用意する第2の工程S102と、副気室部材をホイール本体の固定溝に配置した後、該副気室部材にホイール径方向の圧縮荷重を加えて該副気室部材を固定溝の拡幅部に接触するまで塑性変形させて該副気室部材をホイール本体に固定する第3の工程S103と、副気室部材のホイール周方向の一端部の開口を閉鎖する第4の工程S104と、を含む。【選択図】 図8
