PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that correction of a camera is required for accurately describing the surroundings of a vehicle.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a method for obtaining a range of an external camera of a vehicle camera. A correction indicator is provided on a flat ground surface, and a vehicle is traveled through the correction indicator. An indicator boundary is detected and matched with a stored predetermined shape range, and an indicator shape is authenticated. Regarding an outside range of at least one of cameras, at least one camera outside range is obtained by using a tracking position of the authenticated indicator shape in consecutive dynamic image that is shot during the travel of the vehicle. Any outside range is selected in accordance with a mounting position, and rotations are selected from both a horizontal axis and a vertical axis of a vehicle adjustment system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
