PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerant evaporator that can secure return amount of refrigeration machine oil to a compressor.SOLUTION: In a refrigerant evaporator 5 applied to a vapor compression type refrigeration cycle 1 for circulating a refrigerant including refrigeration oil, a leading-out side resistor 121 is provided within a windward upper tank portion 12, as a resistance portion functioning as flow resistance of the refrigerant. Thus, even when the amount of the refrigerant introduced to the refrigerant evaporator 5 is small, this configuration suppresses uneven flowing of the refrigerant in the liquid phase state in a refrigerant flow passage leading from a first refrigerant assembling portion 23a to a refrigerant leading-out portion 12a. Therefore, since the refrigerant in the liquid phase state is made to flow in a refrigerant flow passage leading from a second refrigerant assembling portion 23b to the refrigerant leading-out portion 12a, in the case where the amount of the refrigerant introduced to the refrigerant evaporator 5 is small or where a compressor 2 is restarted and other cases, the refrigeration machine oil remaining in the refrigerant flow passage leading from the second refrigerant assembling portion 23b to the refrigerant leading-out portion 12a can be returned to the compressor 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6

    【課題】圧縮機への冷凍機油の戻り量を確保可能な冷媒蒸発器を提供する。【解決手段】冷凍機油を含む冷媒を循環させる蒸気圧縮式の冷凍サイクル1に適用される冷媒蒸発器5において、風上側上方タンク部12の内部に、冷媒の流通抵抗となる抵抗部として、導出側抵抗体121を設ける。これによれば、冷媒蒸発器5に導入される冷媒量が少ない場合でも、第1冷媒集合部23aから冷媒導出部12aに至る冷媒流路に液相状態の冷媒が偏って流れることが抑制される。これにより、第2冷媒集合部23bから冷媒導出部12aに至る冷媒流路に液相状態の冷媒が流れるため、冷媒蒸発器5に導入される冷媒量が少ない場合や圧縮機2の再起動時等に、第2冷媒集合部23bから冷媒導出部12aに至る冷媒流路に残存する冷凍機油を圧縮機2に戻すことができる。【選択図】図6
