PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical motion damper device suppressed in vertical vibration which is instantaneously generated resulting from railroad irregularity.SOLUTION: A vertical motion damper device 100 arranged at a railway vehicle 1 having secondary springs 25, 35 which elongate and contract according to the vertical displacement of a vehicle body 10 with respect to bogie frames 21, 31 comprises: variable attenuation dampers 121, 122 which generate attenuation forces corresponding to a relative speed in a vertical direction between the vehicle body and the bogie frames, and can change attenuation force characteristics according to an attenuation force command value; target attenuation force calculation means 111, 112, 113 and 114 which calculate control target attenuation forces of the variable attenuation damper according to outputs of vibration detection means 131, 132 and 133; and attenuation force control means 110 which outputs the attenuation force command value so that the attenuation force which is generated by the variable attenuation damper approximates the control target attenuation force. The attenuation force control means has limiter means 115 which limits the attenuation force command value so that the attenuation force of the variable attenuation damper at a relative rise of the bogie frames with respect to the vehicle body reaches a preset upper limit value or lower irrespective of the control target attenuation force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】軌道不整に起因して瞬間的に発生する上下振動を抑制した上下動ダンパ装置等を提供する。【解決手段】台車枠21,31に対する車体10の上下変位に応じて伸縮する2次ばね25,35を有する鉄道車両1に設けられる上下動ダンパ装置100を、車体と台車枠との上下方向の相対速度に応じた減衰力を発生するとともに減衰力指令値に応じて減衰力特性を変更可能な可変減衰ダンパ121,122と、振動検出手段131,132,133の出力に応じて可変減衰ダンパの制御目標減衰力を算出する目標減衰力演算手段111,112,113,114と、可変減衰ダンパが発生する減衰力が前記制御目標減衰力に近づくよう前記減衰力指令値を出力する減衰力制御手段110とを備え、減衰力制御手段は、制御目標減衰力に関わらず、車体に対して台車枠が相対的に上昇する際の可変減衰ダンパの減衰力が予め設定された上限値以下となるように減衰力指令値を制限するリミッタ手段115を有する構成とする。【選択図】図1
