PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a location estimation technology that can quickly and correctly detect locations where workers are present when the workers move in a restricted space like an inside of a building.SOLUTION: A location estimation method is configured to: install, by a moving body holding a portable terminal having a reception circuit receiving a radio signal and a radio communication circuit wirelessly communicating with an inertia sensor provided and a plurality of transmitters capable of wirelessly transmitting address information, the transmitters at a location satisfying condition with the transmitters put into an active state as moving in a restricted space; compute, by a data processing device capable of wireless communication with the portable terminal, a location of the portable terminal having a start point preliminarily set as a start point on the basis of the address information on the transmitter from the portable terminal, reception electric wave intensity information thereon, and detection information on the inertia sensor as a reference; store the location of the portable transmitter at a point of time when initially receiving the address information from any of the plurality of transmitters as a set location of the transmitter; and create a map displayable on a screen of a display device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】建物内部のような制限された空間内を作業者が移動する場合に、その位置を迅速かつ正確に検出することができる位置推定技術を提供する。【解決手段】無線信号を受信する受信回路と慣性センサと無線通信を行う無線通信回路とを備えた携帯端末およびアドレス情報を無線で発信可能な複数の発信機を保有する移動体が、制限された空間内を移動しながら所定の条件を満たす位置に、発信機をアクティブ状態にして順次設置し、携帯端末と無線通信可能なデータ処理装置により、携帯端末からの発信機のアドレス情報と受信電波強度情報と慣性センサの検出情報に基づいて予め設定された起点を基準とする携帯端末の位置を演算し、複数の発信機のいずれかから最初にアドレス情報を受信した時点での携帯端末の位置を当該発信機の設定位置として記憶し、表示装置の画面上に表示可能なマップを作成するようにした。【選択図】図1
