PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the surplus regenerative electric power absorbing capacity of a gas turbine without deteriorating the thermal efficiency of the gas turbine in operation of a range extender.SOLUTION: A range extender for an electric motor car drives a power generator 28 by a gas turbine 10 which is equipped with a heat exchanger 18 for preheating supply air compressed in a compressor 12 with exhaust gas from the turbine. A surplus regenerative electric power absorbing device uses the range extender, as a means for absorbing surplus regenerative electric power which is generated exceeding an electric power amount to be charged in a battery during regenerative braking, and is provided with a supply air discharge valve 20 for properly discharging supply air, which is compressed in the compressor, before the heat exchanger.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】レンジエクステンダー作動時のガスタービンの熱効率を損なうことなく、ガスタービンの余剰回生電力吸収能を高める。【解決手段】圧縮機12にて圧縮された給気を、タービン排気にて予熱する熱交換器18を備えたガスタービン10により、発電機28を駆動する電動車輌用レンジエクステンダーにおいて、回生制動時にバッテリを充電する電力量を越えて発生した余剰回生電力を吸収する手段とする余剰回生電力吸収装置にして、圧縮機にて圧縮された給気を、熱交換器の手前にて、適宜排出する給気排出弁20が設ける。【選択図】図1
