PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle side sill structure of which a flexural strength is assured at the time of vehicle side collision and weight saving of which is achieved.SOLUTION: In a vehicle side sill structure, a side sill 1 provided on a side surface lower part of a vehicle comprises a side sill outer panel 1a positioned outside the vehicle and a side sill inner panel 1b positioned inside the vehicle. The side sill outer panel 1a and the side sill inner panel 1b are joint to each other so as to form a closed cross section, the side sill outer panel 1a is made of a steel plate having a tensile strength of 1180 Mpa class or higher and a plate thickness of not less than 0.4 mm and not more than 1.6 mm, and the side sill inner panel 1b has a tensile strength of 440 MPa class or higher and is made of a steel having a tensile strength lower than that of the steel plate of the side sill outer panel 1a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】本発明は、車両側突時の曲げ強度を確保するとともに軽量化を達成した車両用サイドシル構造を提供する【解決手段】本発明に係る車両用サイドシル構造は、車両の側面下部に配設されるサイドシル1が、車両外側に位置するサイドシルアウターパネル1aと車両内側に位置するサイドシルインナーパネル1bを備えたものであって、サイドシルアウターパネル1aとサイドシルインナーパネル1bとが互いに接合されて閉断面を形成し、サイドシルアウターパネル1aは引張強度が1180MPa級以上の鋼板で、該鋼板の板厚は0.4mm以上1.6mm以下であり、サイドシルインナーパネル1bは引張強度が440MPa級以上で、サイドシルアウターパネル1aの鋼板よりも引張強度の低い鋼板であることを特徴とするものである。【選択図】 図1
