PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accelerator pedal operation device whose manufacturing cost can be reduced.SOLUTION: An accelerator pedal operation device comprises: an accelerator pedal; a return spring for energizing the accelerator pedal in a return direction; and an accelerator depressing force change mechanism 5 which changes a depressing force of the accelerator pedal so as to generate resistance in the middle of a stroke of the accelerator pedal in a depressing force. The accelerator depressing force change mechanism comprises: a first pin 12 which is so inserted in a housing 11 as to be movable in an axial direction; a fist spring 13 which energizes the first pin to an axial direction rear side so as to project a rear end part 21 of the first pin from the housing; a step part 14 which is formed on an outer peripheral part of the first pin; a second pin 15 which is seated on the step part and is disposed in the housing; and a second spring 16 which energizes the second pin so as to press the second pin onto the step part. A portion of the first pin positioned in front of the step part is formed so as to be thinner than that of a portion of the first pin positioned in the rear of the step part (t1>t2).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】製造コストの低減が可能なアクセルペダル操作装置を提供する。【解決手段】アクセルペダル操作装置は、アクセルペダルと、アクセルペダルを戻り方向に付勢するリターンスプリングと、アクセルペダルの踏み込み方向のストロークの途中で抵抗が生じるようにアクセルペダルの踏み込み力を変化させる踏力変化機構5とを備える。踏力変化機構は、ハウジング11に軸方向移動可能に挿通された第1ピン12と、第1ピンの後端部21をハウジングから突出させるよう第1ピンを軸方向後方に付勢する第1スプリング13と、第1ピンの外周部に形成された段差部14と、段差部に着座してハウジング内に配置された第2ピン15と、第2ピンを段差部に押し付けるよう付勢する第2スプリング16とを備える。段差部の前方に位置する第1ピンの部分が、段差部の後方に位置する第1ピンの部分よりも薄肉(t1>t2)に形成されている。【選択図】図1
