To improve feeling that the foot of a driver is pushed back during active control for adding reaction force in an accelerator pedal device.SOLUTION: An accelerator pedal device includes: a pedal arm 30 which interlocks with tread force of an accelerator pedal; a housing 10 which oscillatably supports the pedal arm around an axis line S; a return spring 40 which exerts energization force for returning the pedal arm to a rest position; a hysteresis generation mechanism 50 which generates hysteresis in tread force in a stepping operation and a return operation of the accelerator pedal; and a reaction force addition mechanism which has a reaction force lever 70 for exerting reaction force to the pedal arm so as to add reaction force in a direction for pushing back the accelerator pedal and a driving source 60 for rotationally driving the reaction force lever. The reaction force lever 70 has a columnar spindle 72 and a contact unit 73 which is supported by the spindle so as to be brought into rolling contact with the spindle 72 and the pedal arm 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
