PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a side collision load transmission structure capable of reducing an intrusion amount of a cabin side wall at the time of side collision without increasing a thickness of a seatback while excellently maintaining neck portion load reduction performance.SOLUTION: In a side collision load transmission structure 10, a first transmission member 60 couples lower end portions 50 L of a pair of side frames 50 in a vehicle width direction. Further, a second transmission member 62 couples a part of a side frame 50 P of a cabin side wall (center pillar 16) side out of the pair of side frames 50 positioned closer to an upper side in a vertical direction of a seatback than a joint portion to the first transmission member 60 and a part of the first transmission member 60 positioned closer to an outside in a vehicle width direction than a center thereof in a longitudinal direction as viewed from a vehicle front face. The first transmission member 60 and the second transmission member 62 are hidden behind general portions 72 of the pair of side frames 50 as viewed from a vehicle side face while being provided so as to avoid a range R into which an upper body of an occupant sinks with respect to the seatback at the time of rear collision.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】頸部負荷低減性能を良好に維持しつつ、かつ、シートバックの厚みを増加させることなく、側面衝突時における車室側壁の侵入量を低減することができる側突荷重伝達構造を得る。【解決手段】側突荷重伝達構造10では、第1伝達部材60が一対のサイドフレーム50の下端部50Lを車幅方向に連結している。また、第2伝達部材62が、一対のサイドフレーム50のうち車室側壁(センターピラー16)側のサイドフレーム50Pにおける第1伝達部材60との接合部分よりもシートバック上下方向上側の一部と、第1伝達部材60の長手方向中央よりも車幅方向外側の一部とを、車両前面視で斜めに連結している。第1伝達部材60及び第2伝達部材62は、後面衝突時にシートバックに対して乗員の上体が沈み込む範囲Rを避けて設けられていると共に、車両側面視で一対のサイドフレーム50の一般部72に隠れている。【選択図】図1
