PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking device that can cool frictional heat generated in a braking surface of a rotating body.SOLUTION: A rotating body 110 has a cylindrical shape, and comprises a groove 114 in an end surface that constitutes an edge portion of the cylindrical shape. An inner peripheral surface that constitutes a cylindrical portion of the cylindrical shape is a braking surface 113. A housing 130 comprises an opening part 131 in a portion opposed to the groove 114, and an injection port 142 of a pipe 140 is arranged in the opening part 131. At the time of braking, a braking member 122 is pressed against the braking surface 113, and the rotation of the rotating body 110 is thereby stopped. At this time, a cooling medium 151 is injected toward the groove 114 from the injection port 142 of the pipe 140, and frictional heat in the braking surface 113 is thereby cooled.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】回転体の制動面に発生する摩擦熱を冷却できる制動装置を提供する。【解決手段】回転体110は円筒形を成し、円筒形の縁部分を構成する端面に溝114を備える。円筒形の筒部分を構成する内周面が制動面113である。ハウジング130は溝114と対向する部分に開口部131を備え、開口部131には配管140の噴射口142が配置される。制動時において、制動部材122が制動面113に押し付けられることによって、回転体110の回転が停止される。このとき、配管140の噴射口142から冷却媒体151が溝114に向けて噴射されることによって、制動面113の摩擦熱が冷却される。【選択図】図1
