PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tension balancer which is small and light, reduces slide resistance of a rod, and easily follows extension/contraction of a trolley wire.SOLUTION: A tension balancer 1 for supporting one end part of a trolley wire T with substantially constant tension regardless of extension/contraction of the trolley wire comprises: a gas pressure spring 2 pivotally fitted to a post P through a lower frame 9; and a rotary arm 3 which is pivotally fitted to the post P through an upper frame 12, fastens the trolley wire apart from the pivotal fitting point, and connects a rod 8 of the gas pressure spring 2 at a position receiving tension of the trolley wire T around the pivotal fitting point. The gas pressure spring 2 consists of: a case 4 pivotally supported on the lower frame 9 in a vertically rotatable manner; a bellows 5 for partitioning the inside of the case 4 into a hydraulic chamber 6 and a gas pressure chamber 7; and the rod 8 inserted into the hydraulic chamber 6 in a retractable manner. The rotary arm 3 is set so that the rotational displacement of the rotary arm 3 in accordance with the extension/contraction of the trolley wire is substantially equal to the rotational displacement of the rotary arm 3 in accordance with the insertion/retraction of the rod 8 due to the expansion/contraction of the gas pressure chamber 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】 小型軽量で、ロッドの摺動抵抗を低減し、電車線の伸縮に追随し易いテンションバランサを提供する。【解決手段】 電車線Tの一端部をその伸縮に関わらずほぼ一定の張力で支持するテンションバランサ1は、支柱Pに下部フレーム9を介して枢着するガス圧ばね2と、支柱Pに上部フレーム12を介して枢着し、この枢着点から距離をおいて電車線Tを引き留め、枢着点周りの電車線Tの張力を受け留める位置にガス圧ばね2のロッド8を連結する回転アーム3とを具備させる。ガス圧ばね2は、下部フレーム9に上下に回転可能に軸支するケース4と、ケース4内を油圧室6とガス圧室7とに仕切るベローズ5と、油圧室6に出入り可能に挿入したロッド8とで構成する。回転アーム3は、電車線Tの伸縮に伴う回転アーム3の回転変位に対して、ガス圧室7の膨張,収縮によるロッド8の出入りに伴う回転アーム3の回転変位がほぼ同等になるように設定する。【選択図】 図2
