PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide high hardness, low heat generation property and good adhesiveness with a fiber to a rubber coating the fiber which is an organic reinforcement fiber (textile) used for reinforcing a carcass layer, a belt cover layer or the like of a pneumatic tire.SOLUTION: The above described problem is solved by a rubber composition for coating a fiber by blending 100 pts.mass of a diene rubber containing a natural rubber and/or a synthetic isoprene rubber of 30 to 100 pts.mass and a butadiene rubber of 0 to 50 pts.mass, 30 to 80 pts.mass of carbon black having nitrogen adsorption specific surface (NSA) of 90 m/g or less and 0.1 to 10 pts.mass of a compound having a structure of a quinone compound and sulfonic acid or salts hereof in a molecule and/or a compound having the structure of the quinone compound and thiosulfuric acid or salts thereof in a molecule.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】空気入りタイヤのカーカス層、ベルトカバー層等の補強には、有機補強繊維(テキスタイル)が用いられており、前記繊維を被覆するゴムは、高い硬度、低発熱性、繊維との良好な接着性が求められている。【解決手段】天然ゴムおよび/または合成イソプレンゴムを30〜100質量部およびブタジエンゴムを0〜50質量部含むジエン系ゴム100質量部に対し、窒素吸着比表面積(N2SA)が90m2/g以下のカーボンブラックを30〜80質量部、および一分子内にキノン類の構造とスルホン酸またはその塩類の構造とを有する化合物、および/または、一分子内にキノン類の構造とチオ硫酸またはその塩類の構造とを有する化合物を0.1〜10質量部配合してなる繊維被覆用ゴム組成物によって上記課題を解決した。【選択図】なし
