PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling an electric power steering device, an electric power steering device, and a vehicle, which does not require an individual compensation unit such as friction compensation, and in which secular change or the like of a mechanical part can be compensated by feedback control of angle follow-up control, and which constantly realize a feeling designed by a target angle computing unit, and which, in particular, easily realize improvement of an on-center feeling, and in which an impact on other functions and stability caused by function addition or the like is clarified.SOLUTION: A torsion bar upper side angle is detected with a torsion bar lower side angle, and either one of the upper side angle and the lower side angle is used to set an angle target value of the other one, and then an actual angle of the other one is detected in order to implement angle follow-up feedback control on the basis of a deviation between the angle target value and the actual angle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
