PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly control the fastening torque of a coupling which transmits drive torque to rear wheels by taking into consideration a fine slip region.SOLUTION: A slip rate control device of a four-wheel drive vehicle has: a coupling slip rate calculation part 21 which acquires a coupling slip rate yon the basis of a front wheel speed Vand a rear wheel speed V; a rear wheel slip rate calculation part 23 which calculates a rear wheel slip rate yon the basis of rear wheel drive torque Tand driving stiffness k; a front wheel slip rate calculation part 24 which acquires a front wheel slip rate yon the basis of the coupling slip rate yand the rear wheel slip rate y; a fastening torque calculation part 25 which acquires the fastening torque Tof an electromagnetic coupling 13 so that the front wheel slip rate is maintained within a fine slip region on the basis of the front wheel slip rate y; and a coupling control part 26 which performs control for applying the fastening torque Tto the electromagnetic coupling 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
