PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a four-wheel drive vehicle, a control method of the same and a control device of the same, which allow the vehicle to quickly transit from a two-wheel drive state to a four-wheel drive state while suppressing a device from being enlarged in size and increased in weight.SOLUTION: A control device 9, which controls a four-wheel drive vehicle 100 which is configured so that driving force is transmitted to rear wheels 105L and 105R through an engagement clutch 12, a propeller shaft 108 and a driving force transmission device 1, reduces a difference in rotation speed between an intermediate rotary member 3 and a ring gear member 22 by force of friction force between a friction surface 522a of a friction member 52 which is restricted from rotating relatively to the intermediate rotary member 3 and a frictioning/sliding target surface 221a of the ring gear member 22, in a state where engagement force of friction clutches 41 and 43 which transmit driving force between first and second output rotary members 61 and 62 of the driving force transmission device 1 and the intermediate rotary member 3 when the vehicle transmits to a four-wheel drive state is set as engagement force allowing the members to relatively rotate; and thereafter connects the intermediate rotary member 3 to the ring gear member 22 using a clutch member 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】装置の大型化や重量の増大を抑制しながら、二輪駆動状態から四輪駆動状態への移行を速やかに行わせることが可能な四輪駆動車及びその制御方法ならびに制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】噛み合いクラッチ12、プロペラシャフト108、及び駆動力伝達装置1を介して後輪105L,105Rに駆動力が伝達される四輪駆動車100を制御する制御装置9は、四輪駆動状態への移行時に駆動力伝達装置1の第1及び第2の出力回転部材61,62と中間回転部材3との間で駆動力を伝達する摩擦クラッチ41,43の締結力をこれらの相対回転を許容する締結力とした状態で、中間回転部材3との相対回転が規制された摩擦部材52の摩擦面522aとリングギヤ部材22の摩擦摺動対象面221aとの摩擦力によって中間回転部材3とリングギヤ部材22との回転速度差を減少させ、その後にクラッチ部材51によって中間回転部材3とリングギヤ部材22とを連結する。【選択図】図1
