PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collision prediction time calculation device capable of calculating appropriate collision prediction time in response to a situation between an own vehicle and a target object.SOLUTION: A collision prediction time calculation device (1) comprising: a distance acquisition unit (3) acquiring a distance X from an own vehicle (101) to a target object; a relative velocity acquisition unit (3) acquiring a relative velocity V of the target object; a relative acceleration acquisition unit (3) acquiring a relative acceleration β of the target object; and a collision prediction time calculation unit (5) calculating collision prediction time t taken until the own vehicle collides against the target object, the collision prediction time calculation unit (5) calculating the collision prediction time t on the basis of the distance X and the relative velocity V when the own vehicle (101) accelerates and calculating the collision prediction time t on the basis of the distance X, the relative velocity V, and the relative acceleration β when the own vehicle (101) decelerates.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
