PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a battery internal state estimation device capable of highly accurately and simply determining whether a battery is properly cooled while suppressing an operation load from increasing; and the like.SOLUTION: When it has been determined that an abnormality occurs in a battery (11) (S4 is No), it is determined whether the abnormality has been caused due to a failure of a cooling device (30) by adjusting a cooling amount in a cooling device (30) cooling the battery (S6) and comparing an actual temperature distribution Sexp3 inside the battery which is detected after the battery has been cooled at an adjusted cooling amount for a predetermined time with an actual temperature distribution Sexp2 that has been detected before cooling amount adjustment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】演算負荷の増大を抑制した上で、バッテリが適切に冷却されているか否かを高精度かつ簡便に判定することのできるバッテリ内部状態推定装置等を提供する。【解決手段】バッテリ(11)に異常があると判定された場合に(S4がNo)、バッテリを冷却する冷却装置(30)による冷却量を調整し(S6)、調整した冷却量で所定時間冷却した後に検出したバッテリ内部の実測温度分布Sexp3と、冷却量調整前に検出された実測温度分布Sexp2とを比較することにより、冷却装置(30)の故障であるか否かを判定する。【選択図】図4
