PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake device of an engine for a vehicle which improves engine performance by taking the low temperature air into an air cleaner, and can prevent the clogging of the air cleaner by preventing the intrusion of snow or the like into the air cleaner.SOLUTION: An intake duct 20 has an air intake port 21 at a rear side of a vehicle in a fore-and-aft direction of a radiator grille 4A as a bumper opening part as an upstream end opening part which is formed while opposing the radiator grille 4A, and an air takeout port 22 as a downstream end opening part. The air intake duct is arranged so as to extend upwardly from the air intake port 21 along a vertical direction from the air intake port 21, and has a flow passage bending part 23A which bends a flow passage in the intake duct 20 to the radiator 6 side at an upstream side rather than the air takeout port 22, and a branch passage 24A which is opened at the front of the radiator 6 in a vehicle fore-and-aft direction is formed at an extension position of the flow passage 23 which is bent by the flow passage bending part 23A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】エアクリーナに低温の空気を取り入れてエンジン性能を向上させ、エアクリーナへの雪などの進入を防止してエアクリーナの目詰まりを防止できる車両用エンジンの吸気装置を提供すること。【解決手段】吸気ダクト20が、バンパ開口部としてのラジエータグリル4Aの車両前後方向後側にこのラジエータグリル4Aに対向して配置される上流端開口部としての空気取り入れ口21と、下流端開口部としての空気取り出し口22と、を有し、空気取り入れ口21から鉛直方向に沿ってこの空気取り入れ口21から上方へ向けて延びるように配置され、空気取り出し口22よりも上流側に、吸気ダクト20内の流路をラジエータ6側へ曲げる流路屈曲部23Aを有し、この流路屈曲部23Aで曲げられた流路23の延長位置に、ラジエータ6の車両前後方向前方で開口する分岐通路24Aを形成した。【選択図】図3
