PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation and movement detection device that can detect movements in two directions in a contactless style with one magnet.SOLUTION: A lever switch device 1 has a magnet 50 which rotates around a third rotational axis L3 to generate magnetic field 500 which is plane-symmetric with respect to a plane 503 containing the third rotational axis L3, a turn detection sensor 80 which is disposed on an arrangement face 101 of a board 100 and detects the rotational angle θ of the magnet 50, a first dimmer detection sensor 91 which detects approach and separation based on relative movement of the magnet 50 and the arrangement face 101, and is disposed at a cross-point 911 between a straight line 506 passing through a cross-point 801 of the third rotational axis L3 and the arrangement face 101 and the outer periphery of a mapping 505 obtained by projecting the magnet 50 onto the arrangement face 101, and a second dimmer detection sensor 92 which detects approach and separation of the magnet 50 and the arrangement face 101, and is disposed to be plane-symmetric with the first dimmer detection sensor 91 with respect to the plane 503.
