PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel battery system that can effectively secure safety of a vehicle and a passenger under crash of the vehicle.SOLUTION: A fuel battery system (5) has a fuel battery stack (10) mounted in a vehicle (1), an oxidation gas supply device (30), an exhausted gas circulation device (40), an electrical consumption device (50), a crash probability detection device (60, 70), and a control device (70) for executing oxidation gas supply stop processing of controlling the oxidation gas supply device so that supply of oxidation gas to a cathode (12) is stopped when crash probability is detected by the crash probability detection device, exhausted gas circulation processing of controlling the exhausted gas circulation device so that circulation to the cathode of the exhausted gas is started, and electric consumption processing of controlling the electric consumption device so that consumption of electricity of the fuel battery stack is started.

    【課題】車両の衝突時における車両と乗員の安全性の確保を効果的に図ることができる燃料電池システムを提供する。【解決手段】燃料電池システム(5)は、車両(1)に搭載された燃料電池スタック(10)と、酸化ガス供給装置(30)と、排出ガス循環装置(40)と、電気消費装置(50)と、衝突可能性検知装置(60,70)と、衝突可能性検知装置によって衝突可能性が検知された場合に、カソード(12)への酸化ガスの供給が停止するように酸化ガス供給装置を制御する酸化ガス供給停止処理と、排出ガスのカソードへの循環が開始するように排出ガス循環装置を制御する排出ガス循環処理と、燃料電池スタックの電気の消費が開始するように電気消費装置を制御する電気消費処理とを実行する制御装置(70)と、を備えている。【選択図】図2
