PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular collision control apparatus capable of sufficiently reducing the total damages of both vehicles at collision in a case where its own vehicle cannot avoid a collision with another vehicle.SOLUTION: In a case where a subject vehicle is determined to be unable to avoid a collision with another vehicle, a vehicular collision control apparatus performs: predicting a total of damages due to the collision on the vehicle and the other vehicle respectively for plural collision modes with mutually different collision spots on the vehicle and the other vehicle, on the basis of speeds of the vehicle and the other vehicle and at least either of plural subject-vehicle collision spots predicted for the vehicle and plural other-vehicle collision spots predicted for the other vehicle; determining a collision mode with a total damages being the smallest of the plural collision modes on the basis of the prediction result; and controlling a travel of the vehicle so that the vehicle collide with the other vehicle in the determined collision mode with the minimum damages.

    【課題】自車両が他車両に対して衝突不可避の場合に、衝突時における両方の車両の被害の総和を十分に低減させることができる車両用衝突制御装置を提供することを課題する。【解決手段】本発明の車両用衝突制御装置は、自車両が他車両に対して衝突不可避であると判定された場合に、自車両及び他車両の速度と、自車両において予測される複数の自車衝突部位及び他車両において予測される複数の他車衝突部位と、に少なくとも基づいて、自車両及び他車両における衝突部位が互いに異なる複数の衝突形態について、衝突による自車両及び他車両における被害の総和を夫々予測し、予測結果に基づいて複数の衝突形態のうち被害の総和が最小の衝突形態を決定し、決定された最小の衝突形態で自車両と他車両とが衝突するように自車両の走行を制御する。【選択図】図1
