PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging system with an improved charging efficiency while effectively using a converter respectively provided in a power supply vehicle and a charged vehicle, when charging a battery with a power supply between vehicles.SOLUTION: A power-supply vehicle 100 and a charged vehicle 200 are interconnected with a charging cable 300. The power-supply vehicle includes a power supply-side battery 101, a power supply-side motor 104, power supply-side power conversion means 103, a power supply-side charging port 108, and power supply-side control means 110. The charged vehicle includes a charged-side battery 201, a charged-side motor 204, charged-side power conversion means 203, a charged-side charging port 208, and charged-side control means 210. The power supply-side control means converts a voltage of the power supply-side battery using the power supply-side power conversion means to output the converted voltage to the power supply-side charging port, while the charged-side control means converts a voltage input to the charged-side charging port using the charged-side power conversion means to output the converted voltage to the charged-side battery, controlling the charging thereof.
