PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid electric vehicle control device capable of suppressing the degradation of running performance by promptly switching to a motor-generator travel mode from any of gear-position-fixed travel modes at a time of a motor-generator travel request during traveling in the gear-position-fixed travel mode based on an engine.SOLUTION: At a time of a motor-generator travel request during traveling in one gear-position-fixed travel mode selected from among a plurality of types of gear-position-fixed travel modes, a motor-generator travel mode that can be set by releasing one (CL1 or BK1) of two engagement elements engaged to set one gear-position-fixed travel mode is selected (ST1 to ST4). Owing to this, the motor-generator travel mode can be set simply by releasing one engagement element (CL1 or BK1) from any of the gear-position-fixed travel modes.

    【課題】エンジンによる変速段固定走行モードで走行中に電動機走行要求があったときに、いずれの変速段固定走行モードからでも電動機走行モードへ動向速やかに切り換えが行なわれて、運転性の低下が抑制されるハイブリッド車両用駆動装置を提供する。【解決手段】複数種類の変速段固定走行モードから選択された1つの変速段固定走行モードによる走行中における電動機走行要求時には、該1つの変速段固定走行モードを成立させるために係合させられた2つの係合要素のうちの一方(CL1又はBK1)を開放させることで成立させられる電動機走行モードが選択される(ST1〜ST4)。このため、複数種類の変速段固定走行モードのいずれにおいても、係合要素(CL1又はBK1)を単に開放することで、電動機走行モードが成立させられる。【選択図】図12
