PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce loss torque and heat generation and improve the reliability of an axle device by keeping a sufficient distance between each rotary disc and each non-rotary disc when a brake mechanism is in a non-braking state.SOLUTION: A brake mechanism 33 comprises a plurality of rotary discs 35 that are attached to a rotating shaft 25 and rotate with the rotating shaft 25, a plurality of non-rotary discs 36 attached to a casing 13 in a non-rotating state so as to face each other and sandwich the rotary discs 35 from the left and right directions, a piston 37 for generating a brake force by pressing the non-rotary disc 36 onto the rotary disc 35, a first elastic member 38 that is positioned between each pair of the non-rotary discs 36 and provides an elastic force in a direction in which they keep a distance from each other to both of them, and a second elastic member 39 that is positioned between each pair of the non-rotary disc 36 and the rotary disc 35 and provides an elastic force in a direction in which they keep a distance from each other to both of them. This can keep a sufficient distance between each rotary disc 35 and each non-rotary disc 36.
【課題】 ブレーキ機構の非制動時に回転ディスクと非回転ディスクを十分に離間し、ロストルクや発熱を低減し、アクスル装置に対する信頼性を向上する。【解決手段】ブレーキ機構33は、回転軸25に取り付けられ該回転軸25と一緒に回転する複数枚の回転ディスク35と、回転ディスク35を左,右方向から対面して挟むようにケーシング13に非回転状態で取付けられた複数枚の非回転ディスク36と、該非回転ディスク36を回転ディスク35に押付けて制動力を発生させるピストン37と、各非回転ディスク36の間に位置して両者に互いに離間する方向の弾性力を付与する第1の弾性部材38と、非回転ディスク36と回転ディスク35との間に位置して両者に互いに離間する方向の弾性力を付与する第2の弾性部材39とを備える構成とする。これにより、回転ディスク35と非回転ディスク36を十分に離間できる。【選択図】 図4
