PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve improvement of suspending ability and improvement of transportability in a wheel type construction machine.SOLUTION: A lower structure 3 of a wheel type construction machine has: a lower frame 20 provided with a revolving seat 21; and left and right wheeled frames 30 provided with wheels 31, 32. The lower frame 20 and the wheeled frames 30 are engaged with each other through an engagement mechanism (comprising beam members 22 and openings 39) which can release the engagement state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
