PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a decrease in fuel consumption without spoiling marine navigation safety.SOLUTION: A ship 10 which obtains propulsive power by driving a normally-used propeller 11 with a main engine 12 is provided with an additional propeller 20 and its driving means. The additional propeller 20 is arranged at the bottom or at a bottom rise part that is a position different from an arrangement position of the normally-used propeller 11. An output of the driving means of the additional propeller 20 is 25% or less of an output of the drive means of the main engine, so that a normally-used operation state that the normally-used propeller 11 is driven to obtain propulsive power and an operation state that the additional propeller 20 is driven to obtain propulsive power can be selected.
